Porcelain Veneers at Glisten

When whitening is not enough.

Some smiles cannot be fixed with whitening or aligners alone. Chips, worn edges, gaps, uneven lengths, and deep staining live in the tooth itself, and no gel or tray changes that.

Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-made shells bonded to the front of your teeth. They let Dr. Dawood control shape, color, and proportion tooth by tooth, so the result fits your face instead of looking pasted on.

The decision

Veneers, bonding, or whitening?

Whitening

Right when your teeth are healthy and evenly shaped, and color is the only complaint.

Bonding

Right for small chips and single-tooth fixes. Less durable than porcelain, lower cost.

Porcelain veneers

Right when you want to change shape, symmetry, and color together, with a result that lasts many years.

Not sure? That is what the consultation is for. Dr. Dawood tells you plainly which option fits, including when the answer is the cheaper one.

Questions

Porcelain Veneers FAQ

How many veneers do I need?

It depends on how wide your smile shows. Some patients treat four to six front teeth; others treat eight to ten for a full smile line. Dr. Dawood plans this with you at the consultation.

Do veneers ruin your teeth?

A small amount of enamel is prepared so each veneer sits flush. Done properly on healthy teeth, veneers protect the front surface rather than harm it. They are a considered, permanent decision, which is why planning comes first.

How long do porcelain veneers last?

With normal care, porcelain veneers commonly last ten years or more. Avoiding hard biting habits and wearing a night guard if you grind extends their life.
